Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen will be released on Switch this coming February

In celebration of the Pokémon 30th anniversary, it was announced that Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen would be re-released digitally for the Nintendo Switch on February 27, 2026.

As of the time of writing, you can pre-order the digital Nintendo Switch versions for Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen at Nintendo eShop for $19.99.

Don't worry, even though this is a pre-order game, it will be preloaded onto your Switch console automatically when Nintendo releases it on the due date.
